Early last Friday morning, police in the US state of Michigan responded to a strange incident where a white Dodge Charger sedan came to rest almost vertically on a residential street.
When the police first arrived at the scene, four adult females were outside of the car.
According to a preliminary investigation, the City of Ann Arbor Police Department found a 24-year-old woman from Ypslianti, Michigan was driving the Charger with three female passengers.
The driver struck a cable attached to a pole, with the vehicle landing on a street sign.
Police confirmed there were no injuries from the accident, though the 24-year-old driver was arrested for driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.17 or more.
That's more than twice the legal limit and can carry penalties including hefty fines, up to a one-year licence suspension, and up to 180 days in jail.
The police department posted about the strange incident on Facebook to remind people about the dangers of driving while intoxicated.
